Bringing back that alpha channel for some extra detail!
Some of the VFX users in our ActionVFX Facebook group shared a few techniques and best practices on how to add extra depth to our Explosions. We thought this method was blorthy (blog worthy) enough to put it in a tutorial!
We used one of our Explosions for this demonstration, but the same technique can be applied to many other effects.
Be sure to check out the rest of our tutorials you have free access to. You may pick up some other valuable tips for your projects.
If you're looking to connect and share tips with other ActionVFX users, check out our ActionVFX Facebook group. We’d love for you to be part of our community!
I hope this has been a helpful tip for you guys. If you have any recommendations for future tips and tutorials, let us know!
